Leaks and leak detection

Most domestic leaks are at compression joints, push-fit elbows on hot feeds, or failing tap tails. We trace from the symptom (damp patch, dripping ceiling, pressure loss) back to the source using moisture meters and thermal imaging where the leak isn't visible, then fix at source, not at the symptom. Where the leak is under a solid floor, we'll be honest about the trade-off between trace-and-access vs re-routing the pipe overhead.

Taps, mixers and stopcocks

We supply and fit all major brands, Bristan, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Vado, Perrin & Rowe, or fit a tap you've bought yourself. Old seized stopcocks under kitchen sinks are replaced with a quarter-turn ball valve so you can isolate the house in seconds in an emergency.

Toilets and waste

Constantly running fill valves, leaking flushes, wobbly pans, slow drains and blocked soil stacks. We carry universal parts on the van for most common cisterns and can replace a full WC in a couple of hours.

Pipework and re-pipes

Kitchen and utility refits where units are being moved, we'll re-run the hot, cold and waste in copper or quality push-fit, clipped, tested and labelled, ready for the fitter to drop units back in.

Outside taps and garden plumbing

Outside tap installs with internal isolation and frost protection. Drinking-water-compliant where required. Tidy through-wall finish, not a bodge through a vent brick.
